Dr. Dimitry Rabkin, founder and Medical Director of Esthetica MD, the premier center for cosmetic medicine and facial aesthetics, is a skilled and gifted physician with an M.D. from Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He focuses his talents on preventing, arresting and reversing the visible signs of facial aging. He is a master at assessing the face and, through medically sound and scientifically backed skincare treatments and minimally invasive, non-surgical procedures, provides patients with the highest-quality, safest, most effective modalities.
Prior to becoming a physician, Dr. Rabkin was trained in architectural and mechanical design and has a Bachelors Degree in Art from Brandeis University. He conducted his residency at Albany Medical Center and fellowship at Emory University. Dr. Rabkin combines his educational background with passion and expertise in medicine, art and architecture to visualize patients’ optimum appearance. He then provides highly customized and specialized treatments that deliver balanced, proportioned and naturally attractive outcomes.
Dr. Rabkin is double Board Certified by the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine and American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery. In addition to serving as the Medical and Surgical Director of Esthetica MD, located in Englewood, NJ, Dr. Rabkin is Director of Minimally Invasive Facial Rejuvenation at New York Head & Neck Institute at Lenox Hill Hospital, NS-LIJ, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and is a consultant to several U.N. missions.
Dr. Rabkin was involved in early research in platelet activation at Harvard Medical School, one of the most current procedures in facial rejuvenation today. He has vast experience with facial fillers going back to the 1990s, in the field of facial reconstruction after injuries, and has used Botulinum toxin injections in head and neck surgery many years before it was specifically recognized as treatment for facial wrinkles.
Dr. Rabkin is a widely published author, having written many peer review articles and chapters. He also frequently lectures to colleagues, residents and medical students.
In addition to his practice, Dr. Rabkin has a strong personal commitment to charity. A portion of each dollar is donated to the “Save the Children” fund.
