CLINICAL EXPERIENCE
During the period of basic and specialist surgical training in Cairo University, Medical School I was exposed to a wide variety of general and specialised surgical procedures.
General Surgery:
I am well trained in hernia, thyroid and breast surgery, hepato biliary, including laparoscopic surgery, upper gastrointestinal surgery and colorectal surgery, in addition to vascular and plastic surgery.
Emergency Abdominal Surgery:
Laparotomy for trauma, GIT bleeding and peritonitis.
Reconstructive procedures:
– Repair of traumatic cutaneous lesions and raw areas resulting from excision of neoplastic skin lesions using skin grafting and flaps, repair of tendons and nerves, scar revision, and fixation of mandibular fractures.
– I am an active member in the reconstructive team concerned with performing reconstructive procedures for head and neck, complex hernial defects of the abdominal wall reconstruction of the upper and lower limb following traumatic defects- tumor ablation-tendon repair micro neurosurgery at the Trauma unit In Cairo University Hospitals.
– I am well trained in management of Cranio-Maxillo-Facial Injuries (M.Sc thesis 2003)
– I am well trained in management of Cancer Breast with different modalities of breast reconstruction (M.D thesis 2006)
– Management of Burn: Complete responsibility of Burn Unit for one year of my residency.

Aesthetic surgery: 

I am practicing hundreds of cases of different modalities of aesthetic surgery especially:

• Nose reshaping, face and necklift, blepharoplasty.
• Breast reduction, augmentation, asymmetry and reconstruction.
• Body contouring, liposculpture, arm lift, thigh lift and Abdominoplasty.
• Facial rejuvenation, Laser, IPL, Mesotherapy, Dermabrasion, Peeling.
